ENTERTAINMENT & PROGRAMME
What dances will be performed?
Our dancing teacher has selected three dances: Hole in the Wall, Lord Byron's Maggot and The Indian Queen. These three dances will be taught, and the same three will be danced to the live music.
We’ve intentionally limited the number to three based on feedback from our previous event—where the programme was a bit too ambitious, leaving many attendees feeling rushed and underprepared for dancing to live music.
Striking the right balance can be tricky, as our guests range from complete beginners to experienced dancers. If you're already familiar with the steps, we kindly ask for your patience—and perhaps a helping hand for those still learning.
If you’d like to suggest additional dances later in the evening, we’re very open to that! Our teacher is usually happy to open the floor for guest-led dances. Just be sure to prepare the necessary music so we can look it up on Spotify on the day.
What to expect regarding the musical live performance?
Our Chamber Ensemble will be headed by captivating mezzo-soprano Karolina Delanoue, who will grace the ball with several pieces befitting the theme. She will be accompanied by several musicians.
Will there be live sketches again?
Yes! The talented artist Liv Winkelmann will offer live sketches of attendees for a fee so you may bring home a digital souvenir.
Will there be quests or NPCs to interact with?
No. We want Moonlight Tales to be about dancing, good conversation and beautiful music so there will be no quests. However, we will provide some light parlour games to break the ice.
What is the Dressing Hour?
The Dressing Hour is a dedicated break before the official opening of the ball, exclusively for Prestige guests. It's the perfect time to change into your costume or take a moment for hair and make-up.
You're welcome to attend the earlier activities—like dancing lessons and High Tea—in costume if you prefer. However, many guests choose to wait until the Dressing Hour to put on their more elaborate gowns or suits, helping to avoid sweaty armpits or accidental food stains before the main event.
This break also gives our team time to welcome and check in the rest of the attendees. Meanwhile, our photographer will begin the individual portraits included with Prestige tickets—starting with those already in costume and continuing with those dressing during the dedicated hour.

Will footage of me be used to promote future events?
Yes, we will use the photographs and videos of the event to promote future Moonlight Tales. By purchasing admission you agree to us using pictures (you might be in) for promotion on Social Media and websites.
Will there be an opportunity to preview the pictures before they can be shared?
Yes, we will share the pictures via Google Drive with a "preview" watermark on them. Participants will have a few days to notify us if they want any pictures to be removed before they can be shared publicly.
